Set in four acres of countryside and overlooking the town of Abergavenny and the Blorenge Mountain, The Hill is a delightful place to stay. We have retained many of the Hill's original features and the historic charm of the house has been retained.
As a visitor to The Hill you will enjoy a high standard of accommodation and service. Visit Wales has awarded our accommodation a 3-star rating and a Silver Accommodation Award. We have 48 bedrooms comprising 31 single, 12 double and 5 twin.
- All our standard bedrooms are en-suite with either bath/shower or shower and are equipped with TVs, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer and telephone.
- Three of our rooms have facilities for guests with disabilities - please contact us to discuss your requirements.
- Many rooms have spectacular views of our grounds
and towards the Blorenge Mountain.

Executive/Superior Room - go on treat yourself... !
Up the historic staircase you will find to our new John Wedgwood Suite*. This executive double bedroom has recently been redecorated and refurnished to the highest standards.
There is a large, walk-in, dressing room with full-length mirror and ample hanging space leading from it. The large en-suite bathroom contains a luxury shower/bath and is decorated with beautiful Turkish stone tiles. From the bedroom window there are wonderful views of the grounds and surrounding hills.

*John Wedgwood, co-founder of the Royal Horticultural Society and son of Josia Wedgwood (of pottery fame) lived at The Hill from 1831 to 1836 – visit our beautiful restored walled garden and view the standing stone erected in his memory.
