A special day requires a special place - we understand that well. The Hill, an impressive country house situated in its own picturesque grounds, is now licensed to hold wedding ceremonies and receptions. This unique location is perfect for those couples looking for a venue for up to 50 guests.
The Hill is the former home of the Martins, who celebrated their own family weddings at the house in the 1900’s; recently this impressive 19th Century house has been completely upgraded while still retaining many of its original features, including the lovingly restored Victorian walled garden.
The Hill is tucked away in its own five acres of grounds and we only host one wedding per day, so you won’t be disturbed by passing onlookers. You can choose where to host your ceremony from one of our five function rooms which vary in size and style – all of which will work wonderfully to capture the moment.
Your wedding banquet will be specially designed by our team of chefs using the best of local produce and fine wines. There will always be plenty of staff on hand to make sure your day passes effortlessly.
For your wedding guests, there are 48 en-suite bedrooms and a self-catering lodge, all of which have been to equipped to a high standard. We also have a newly appointed honeymoon suite, which is yours to use for the duration of your wedding.
